August 2008 ~ Tessa has been so busy that she hasn't been updating the news section but her pet told her that she needed to do it ASAP. First of all, she'd love to introduce you to her new friends, Mr. Porter, Rex and Honeydew. And since Tessa has such a big heart, she's been working with the local shelters and adoption agencies to help other dogs, cats and fuzzy and feathered creaters that need a good home! Water Street Market is having their annual Harvest Fest. This year Paws of Distinction will be holding our first ever Pet Costume Parade!!!!! Whether they are big or small every one on four legs is invited to participate. The Market will have demonstrations and events all day, and the parade will start @ 1:30pm. All dogs who participate in costume will receive a goodie bag with Samples of some of Tessa’s favorite treats and Paws of Distinction’s own gourmet cookies. Help make this event fun for all.... May 2007 - Tessa just got back from the American Cancer Society's Dogwalk Against Cancer in Bear Mountain Park, NY, where she met up with a lot of her friends. December 2006 ~ Tessa is quite excited to announced that Amanda Jones of Amanda Jones Photography will be having photo shoots in New Paltz on June 2-3, 2007. This is an once in a dog's lifetime opportunity to get your pet photographed by Amanda. She is the one that took the black and white photos of Tessa on the site. She has been working really hard to put some of her favorite things up for those friends who can’t stop by and see her. While Tessa is frequently adding new items to the online bowtique, it is still just a small sampling of what is offered in her shop. Tessa will occasionally be sending out a newsletter that will include upcoming events she will be attending, special events at the shop, and sales. Sign up to make sure you know what's going on. 
Tessa and Amanda were at the Paws in the Park Petwalk in Bowdoin Park, Poughkeepsie, NY on September 9, 2006 where they ran the DCSPCA’s boutique and donated a portion of their profits to Paws in the Park Petwalk. Tessa donated her tasty cookies for the DCSPCA to sell along with donating prizes for their games. She also included three pack cookie bags for their registration baggies! Tessa was in the October 2006 Hudson Valley Connoisseur, which featured some of their delicious cookies along with many must have pet products!  Tessa meets one of her favorite TV personalities, Annemarie Lucas from Animal Planet’s Animal Precinct at Paws in the Park Petwalk in Bowdoin Park, Poughkeepsie, NY on September 9, 2006 .
